What we do

We publish two new guides each week, plus a Tuesday morning newsletter that pulls together what's worth reading and what's worth buying. Our focus is practical, evergreen information — the kind of post you'd actually bookmark.

What we don't do

We avoid a few things, on purpose:

  • No medical claims. We're not your doctor, and we never frame anything as a cure or treatment. Always talk to a physician about a new supplement, exercise routine, or major lifestyle change.
  • No fearmongering. If a product sounds urgent, life-changing, or shocking, that's almost always a tell. We write plainly.
  • No fake reviews or testimonials. When we quote a real user, we link to the source.
  • No daily content treadmill. Evergreen guides over thin "engagement bait." We'd rather publish two good pieces a week than ten throwaway posts.

How we work

The Golden Stride uses AI-assisted research and drafting as part of our editorial process. We use large language models (primarily Claude by Anthropic) to identify topics readers are searching for, gather background information, and produce initial drafts.

Every published piece is reviewed and edited by a human editor before going live, with attention to factual accuracy, product recommendations, hedging of medical claims, and tone. We don't publish anything that hasn't been read end-to-end and corrected where needed.

We disclose this for two reasons: it's required under FTC guidance and Amazon Associates' 2026 program updates, and we believe readers deserve to know how the information they're reading was made.

Affiliate disclosure

The Golden Stride is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. We also participate in other affiliate programs and may earn a commission when you click a link to a product we recommend and make a purchase, at no extra cost to you. This is how we keep the lights on without taking money from brands to write favorable reviews.

Commission does not influence which products we recommend or what we say about them. If a popular product has problems, we will say so. If a less-well-known product is better, we will recommend it instead.
